Our Cast

Ray Bode has been with Impromedy for quite a number of years now and has yet to turn in a bio. At this rate we think he never will, so just stare at this space.

Jeff Quintana has been performing improv and sketch comedy since 2003. He started his comedic career with Impromedy's developmental comedy program called Impromedy JV. In a short time he was asked to become part of the regular Impromedy cast. Since then Jeff has brought us memorable characters such as El Mago, the cheating Guess Who wizard, the Cave man in Cave Man Solutions, and the Ninja in Coffee Shop Ninja. Jeff moved to Gainesville, FL in January '06 and became a member of the improv group Theatre Strike Force and 88 MPH. He has also written and performed with the sketch comedy group Generation in the show O America Where Art Thou. Jeff has taken his Impromedy roots with him and has formed Impromedy Gainesville. Jeff is a public relations major with a minor in theatre.

Nicky Quintana joined IMPROMEDY in the Spring of 1999 working on her first show, The Phantom Phetish. Since then she has been part of the IMPROMEDY family. She recieved her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Florida International University. In 1998 she founded a professional acting troupe, The Fourth Wall, and ran a production of All in the Timing at an alternative theatre lounge space, Power Studios in Miami, Florida. Her other credits include, Adela in The House of Bernarda Alba, Yucca in My Cup Ranneth Over, and Joan in The Marriage of Bette and Boo. Nicky is also a set designer and is the Drama Magnet Instructor at Robert Morgan Educational Center.

Ozzie Quintana is a founding member of Impromedy. He has a BFA in performance from Florida International University and is a graduate from the Players Workshop of the Second City in Chicago and has an emphasis in improvisational theatre. He has been Technical Director and Artistic Director for the previous Impromedy shows. He has brought such memorable characters as the Native Rombo Kolokokombo, Grab Yo' Head, and one half of t he Tostito-Speedo Guys, Moses, with Yamil Piedra, as well as most recently It’s Real Papa Boy to the stage of Impromedy and continues expanding his characters and comedy into future productions. Other than his roles in Impromedy his previous stage credits include Yogurt in Juggerknot Theatre’s Bump, Bylenkov in Wendy Wessertein's The Man in the Case, the Herald in Marat/Sade, Henry Higgins in Pygmalion, Cletus in Lonestar, the Baker-Chuck 1-Don in All in the Timing, Eddie in Lost in Yonkers, and the son in the musical Angry Housewives. Ozzie is the drama instructor at Southridge Senior High School.

Andy Jean-Gilles started with Impromedy JV in 2004 and has been a regular member ever since. He is a graduate of the New World School of the Arts with a BFA in Performance and has been since on the Carnival Center Stage as the Duke of Burgandy in the King Lear as well as other productions. He’s also funny and Haitian.

Josh Hall started with the Impromedy JV program and has since graduated from the program into the starting lineup of the Impromedy Miami cast. He has been with the troupe for over six months and since then has performed in six shows one of which includes Impromedy’s acclaimed Delivery Guys long form and Improv Baby Improv. Essentially he’s exactly the same as Albert.

Peter Mir is a current BA student in Performance at Florida International University. He was previously seen in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum at FIU as has been with Impromedy since 2004 along with other famous Impromedy Alumni Andy Jean Gilles and Jeff Quintana. He is stoked to be here.
